This is the third exhibition in the history of the place, which fully captures the history and legacy of Frederic Chopin.

Time travel: The interior where the great composer was born
The tour starts from the right side, where the entrance to the historic interiors takes us back in time to the early years of the 19th century. It was here that the Skarbek family and the Chopins lived. During the tour, we can admire reconstructions of historical rooms, such as the Chopins' living room and Michal Skarbek's men's study. Period furniture and furnishings create an authentic atmosphere of the time. However, the highlight of this section is the room where Frederic Chopin himself was born. It is a symbolic place full of emotions and concert sounds, where Chopin recitals are held. The interior is a kind of sanctuary commemorating the composer's work and person.

Then we move to the left side of the annex, where the Music Room is located. It is here that the second part of the story begins, dedicated to the history of the museum. The room's decor is reminiscent of the pre-war exposition and provides us with the atmosphere of intimate salon concerts. Subsequent rooms inform us about the transformation of the outbuilding into a national-style mansion and the creation of the park that surrounds Chopin's Birthplace House and is a monument dedicated to the composer.

Original memorabilia and tribute to admirers: valuable exhibits on display
An important part of this exhibition are original objects, which are on display for the first time at Chopin's Birthplace. We can admire family heirlooms, such as books from Nicolas Chopin's library, first editions of the young Chopin's compositions and letters written by Frederick himself.

The exhibition not only tells us the story of Chopin and his family, but also shows how the place was perceived by successive generations of admirers of the composer's work. It is also a tribute to the people who devoted a lot of time and determination to the creation of the Fryderyk Chopin Birthplace.
